This deck is based on Devourer's ability to steal your opponent's quanta. After generating enough Aether quanta, use Fractal on your Devourers and laugh at your opponent while they sit there, helpless. This is definitely under the category of shutdown decks.

1) Play all pillars (duh!)
2) As soon as you can, get down a Devourer.
3) Build up Aether quanta until you are ready to use a Fractal.
3.5) If you ever need to do some Creature Control, that's what Drain Life is there for.
3.75) If you ever need to do some Permanent Control, that's what Steal is there for.
4) Use Fractal on your Devourer to steal all of your opponent's quanta and shut them down completely.
5) Toss out Minor Vampires and/or Black Dragon.
6) Use Fractal on Minor Vampires to finish them off.
The main weakness of this deck is rainbow decks, because their quantum pillars generate three times as much quanta as a typical pillar or pendulum. When you have this problem, your best chance is to steal away their quantum pillars and hope for the best.
The other weakness of this deck is speed decks, especially Fire. Rain of Fire can destroy all of your creatures other than the Black Dragon in one hit. If your opponent has a fire deck, watch out, and maybe hold on to one Devourer in case a Rain of Fire comes.
This deck is very strong against slow-setup decks without quantum pillars. Just steal your opponent's quanta, and they'll be helpless to fight you.
Adding some Earthquakes to this deck is a possibility, although that does slow this deck down a bit. The Black Dragon is not completely necessary, although I like it for the damage output. Tossing in a couple of Dimensional Shields might be a good idea as well.
Anything with "Devour" will ruin your deck. -Anonymous
