The actual damage dealt is 3 + (3 x (Quanta rounded down to the nearest 10) / 10).

If you have 29 quanta, the above formula would yield 29/3 = 9.66 rounding up to 12.
The actual damage dealt is 3 + (3 x (20 / 10)) = 9.

FahrenheitEdit

Weapon deals 4+X/5 damage at the end of every turn, where X is the number of Fire quantum you have.

At the end of each turn, the amount of quantum in your pool after all fire quantum is added for the turn from all sources is the amount taken into consideration. The amount of additional damage done, X, based on your Fire quantum, Q, is X = Q/5 rounded down to the nearest 1. So, for example, If you have 0 fire quantum before you end your turn, 3 fire pillars/towers, and an ash eater you will have 4 fire quantum at the end of your turn. 4/5 = 0.8 rounded down is 0. X for this turn will be zero and you will only deal the base amount of damage, either 4 or 5 depending on if it's upgraded or not. Another example you have 0 fire quantum before you end your turn, and 10 fire pillars. You will have 10 fire quantum at the end of your turn. 10/5 = 2. Rounded down to the nearest whole number is 2. So X will be 2, and you will deal 6-7 damage depending on if it's upgraded or not.
